We make it easy to upload, manage, and view your prescription(s) from your XP Health account. Make sure you have an active prescription with a current expiration date on hand to get started.
How to add a new prescription on the XP Health website
1. Navigate to the ‘Vision Care’ tab denoted by the eye icon and select ‘Prescriptions.’
2. Select ‘ADD A PRESCRIPTION.’ Then choose the member the prescription is for, and select ‘Next.’
- The name on the prescription must match the name of an active and enrolled member on your account.
- If you need to add a new member, you can do so at this step of the process.
3. Select the type of prescription by checking the ‘Eyeglasses’ or ‘Contact Lenses’ box and select ‘Next.’
- If your prescription includes both eyeglasses and contact lens prescriptions on the same file, select both checkboxes.
4. Input the prescription expiration date and upload the prescription file.
- If you input an expiration date that has already passed, you will not be able to upload your prescription.
5. Optional: Check the box to consent to provider outreach. This allows us to contact your prescribing doctor with any questions our lab may have about your prescription.
6. Our team will review and approve your prescription. You can check the status of your prescription(s) at any time in the ‘Vision Care’ tab of the XP Health website.
