Trying on frames at home is a great way to find a comfortable, confident fit. With our Home Try-On kit, you can choose up to six frames from our eligible collection and try them for six days—no commitment required.
Eligibility Note: Home Try-On is not available for certain luxury brands.
Step 1: How to Select Frames
You can find frames available for Home Try-On through three methods in our eligible collection:
- Filter: Select the 'AVAILABLE FOR HOME TRY-ON' filter on the Eyeglasses page.
- Hover Icon: Hover over the frame on the main shopping page and select the home icon (top right).
- Product Page: Visit the frame’s product details page and select ‘TRY-ON AT HOME.’
Step 2: Build Your Kit
- Selection Size: After you add your first frame, you can add up to five more (for a total of six).
- Curated Fill: If you check out with fewer than six frames, we will curate the remaining spots based on your profile preferences.
Step 3: Checkout and Shipping
- Handling Fee: A $10 handling fee will be charged at checkout and automatically credited toward your next order.
- Multifocal Prep: If you plan on ordering multifocal (bifocals/trifocals/progressives) lenses, you will be asked during checkout so we can include a special measuring kit.
- Delivery: You can expect to receive your curated kit in 4 to 6 business days.
Step 4: Try On and Order
- Try-On Period: You have up to six days to try on the frames.
- Place Order: To order your favorite pair, visit your ‘ORDERS’ page and click on your chosen frame to start the custom-lens ordering process.
- Submit Measurements: If you’re uploading your Pupillary Distance (PD) or multifocal measurements, follow the instructions included in your kit or upload them through your XP Health account's order history page ("see details").
- Add to Cart: After measurements are uploaded, you can add the frame to your cart directly within the order page or find it again through the shop menu.
Step 5: Return Your Kit
- Return Contents: Place all six frames back into the box, including the frame you chose. Your new pair with custom lenses will be made and shipped separately.
- Shipping: A prepaid USPS return label is included for easy drop-off.
You’ll pay a one-time $10 handling fee when you order your first Home Try-On kit. That same $10 is then reused as a credit for any additional kits you try. When you place your final eyeglass order, the $10 is applied to your purchase, or refunded if your total is $0.

Please note: Unreturned Home Try-On kits will result in a charge to the card on file for 70% of the retail value of all six frames (typically $750–$2,000).
